Inpatient Kit Features
1.) Decrease therapist’s time. Fitting time is significantly less as compared to fabricating a thermoplastic splint.
2.) The splints are reusable. Simply discard the cover and palm pad when the patient is discharged and apply a new cover and palm pad for the next patient. The straps can be cleaned with alcohol.
3.) Replacement parts (covers and straps) are available for purchase. Replacement covers will be sold in packages of 5, and straps can be purchased in individual sets.
4.) Each splint includes three interchangeable hand pieces, each with a different grade of resistance. This feature further prevents joint damage and offers the therapist more options when addressing soft tissue shortening, hypertonicity and hypermobility.
